French Vocabulary

One of the cornerstones of being fluent in French is to know truly useful French vocabulary.

In this blog section, you’ll find not only reliable lists of French vocabulary with English translation (some with audio) but also explanations, relevant cultural advice, French pronunciation tips, etc…

Some of these articles are real guides such as my complete guide to French numbers (with audio), cats and dogs, how to say I love you in French and alternatives, the many ways or saying thank-you, hello, goodbye etc…

Suggest more French vocabulary terms

When I write a French vocabulary list, I really think hard about all the French terms and expressions I can come up with. But a list can always be improved! So please, don’t hesitate to suggest in the comments new French vocabulary terms – please include an English translation. I will add your suggestion to the list.

If lists are useful, I believe the best way to learn French is to learn within the context of a story. I invite you to check out my downloadable French audiobooks.

Please comment and of course a share onto social medias is very much appreciated!
