I purchased the book after spending sometime viewing their sample work online. I am very impressed with the support I got from the French Today team. I had quite a few questions before organising my payment, every time my queries were answered promptly and patiently. So I would say their customer service is really first class!

Although I haven’t really started using the book yet, I like and enjoy all the language and culture materials through their regular emails and I look forward to starting my learning journey with the book soon!

This is the best course that exists. It is so thorough and well planned. I am supposed to be at level B1 but I realised that the exam that I had taken was far too easy : there is so much that I don’t know.
I have bought all the À Moi Paris audio books and I wish that I had discovered them earlier.
I have also purchased all the Verb Drills which are truly excellent.

The fact that Camille has recorded herself speaking in three different speeds is incredibly helpful. As she notes, spoken French sounds very different than the French I learned in high school 35 years ago! I finally feel hopeful that I’ll become proficient one day in the near future. Great product!

I am preparing to interact with French speakers on a professional level at my workplace. My B.A. is in French, but I haven’t used the language in over 20 years. I found that I could still read French, and that I could stil remember a lot of grammar points, but understanding spoken language and speaking the language was much more of a challenge.

I worked with a language learning app for a while, but it did not explain the more advanced points of grammar, or the subtle nuances of vocabulary, very thoroughly, and in some cases, not at all.

While Googling when to use “l’on”, versus “on”, I came across Camille’s very thorough explanation of the pronoun “on” and when and why the “l'” is inserted. I was very impressed and downloaded the sample audiobook that covers a chapter from each of the À Moi Paris series.

I started listening from the beginning, and I was hooked! There were thorough explanations of grammar and vocabulary usage for both written and spoken French, and even idiomatic phrases were indicated in the story!

I bought the whole À Moi Paris series right away, and ended up purchasing several other French Today audiobooks as well!

If you are like me and have a background in French, but you want to work on your speaking and listening skills, as well as your precision in French grammar and vocabulary, start from the beginning. I have found it much less intimidating to get used to street French starting with concepts and vocabulary I already understand. But on top of that, I found lots of valuable insights into French grammar and vocabulary, even at the beginner level.

I only wish I had found French Today earlier! Camille and Olivier offer a fantastic product, and they are extremely helpful if you run into any difficulty.

Thank you, Camille and Olivier, for all you do!

Best learning aids I have found. Much of it is free! As an older learner its good to know Camille’s french is up to date, mine is from the mid 1990s.

After trying to learn to French the typical way (learning spoken and written at the same time), the thought came to me that two-year old children can speak the language and don’t have to learn how to spell anything or what imparfait, plus-que-parfait or any other tense means until they’re in school.

I currently have to read what is being communicated because if it is spoken, I am lost.

Learning was harder than it needed to be, so I searched for another way and found French Today. Camille’s words spoke exactly to what I knew — separating conversation from written was the best approach to learning.

I’m currently working my way through A Moi Paris beginner levels 1 & 2 and also purchased the intermediate levels and verb conjugation. I enjoy the learning process, am retaining more, and love following along with a story. I play the chapters at all three speeds and speak along with Camille’s exercises.

Learning to communicate verbally is my priority and Camille has provided exceptional tools and training to make it possible.

I have been trying to learn to speak French for years, from attending classes to books, cd’s, spent a fortune and achieved nothing. Had I known about you YEARS ago I am very confident I would now be speaking French fluently! Finally I have found exactly what I have been looking for. I have only recently started and I am already making great progress 😃 I would strongly recommend French Today as the best way to learn to speak French.

I looove these classes! Camille has a lovely French accent plus she blogs tous le jour en français! So learning occurs tour le jour. In addition, the student can hear 3 different speeds of speech. I try to use Modern as I will be hearing that en vacances soon. She even taught me an easy, lovely French lullaby – I will proceed with additional courses and continue her advice: practice daily, use the Verb bundle; practice out loud daily. PS I have been taking another course online – FrenchToday is the BEST! Mille merci Camille et Olivier ! PS I talk with/for my “caniche grand noir”. Caniche is French for poodle. Au revoir tous !

So far, this has been really educational. I’ve been taking the vocabulary and making flashcards out of it, and re-listening to the stories. Faster pace helps me understand. I home in my listening skills. Can’t wait to start my intermediary journey.
