I looove these classes! Camille has a lovely French accent plus she blogs tous le jour en français! So learning occurs tour le jour. In addition, the student can hear 3 different speeds of speech. I try to use Modern as I will be hearing that en vacances soon. She even taught me an easy, lovely French lullaby – I will proceed with additional courses and continue her advice: practice daily, use the Verb bundle; practice out loud daily. PS I have been taking another course online – FrenchToday is the BEST! Mille merci Camille et Olivier ! PS I talk with/for my “caniche grand noir”. Caniche is French for poodle. Au revoir tous !

So far, this has been really educational. I’ve been taking the vocabulary and making flashcards out of it, and re-listening to the stories. Faster pace helps me understand. I home in my listening skills. Can’t wait to start my intermediary journey.

Excellent series for brushing up on the French I last studied in college some 30 years ago, in preparation for a trip to France later this year. I’ve nearly finished working my way through the Beginner audiobook and have just purchased the Intermediate. The way the information is presented is excellent. The gradual introduction of elements of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation allow you to continuously learn new things and build on what you’ve already learned. The tone is friendly and encouraging. I did a lot of research before choosing the series and I’ve been congratulating myself on making the right choice!

I was dubious about using an audio book, at first, as I haven’t used one before. In the past I have only used text books. However, I can honestly say it’s the best buy I have made for learning French. My listening skills have really improved. I am so glad I made the investment. Thank you for all your hard work. As an ex-teacher, I know it isn’t easy to come up with all that materials within familiar, everyday contexts at the right level for students.

It is really helpful. I am going through the above slowly. It has helped in the greeting side of conversation. My french teacher recommends your site. In your words repetition is the key but I need to concentrate on pronunciation on the simple words. We are now in France for seven weeks and hopefully I can improve.

Actually bought the whole series & working my way through. I learned French at school 30+ yrs ago, and wanted to brush up having forgotten a lot of vocabulary. I’m learning so much more than just vocab with FT. The systematic approach is helping me understand why & how as well as what to say, which is critical for adult learners. Congratulations on a great learning system.

I have taken many French classes through out the years and decided to give it another shot, so I wanted to begin from the beginning and I love it and I am learning so much more than the previous times I have tried . It’s not easy and there is alot of memorizing but it explains it all in a way I can understand . I will definitely continue with the next audio books when this one is finished.

I am a ‘low intermediate’ student. I’ve been studying French for two years (as an older student, for enjoyment). Along the way, I discovered French Today and love it. Camille’s books, verb drills, exercises, and pronunciation guide are great. There are many choices now where you can learn French (YouTube, books, websites) but only a few are truly substantial, well-crafted, and useful. French Today is a ‘go-to’ prime resource!

Camille has put a great deal of effort, knowledge, and thought into the teaching method and her materials. They are spot-on, easy to use, and a bargain (for what you get). Highly recommend you give her work a try.
