Well, I can see that I absolutely love the materials that I have received from you guys. For my level it is absolutely perfect. You are so clear when you are narrating. I just love listening and do not feel frustrated. I listen to the modern French version. I have been studying French for many, many years so my passive French is very good. Someday I would like to look at the possibility of taking a vacation and doing French immersion somewhere in France.

It is working very well for me. Having learnt the basics, it allows me to gain proficiency in reading, hearing and understanding French in smaller bites, and thus manage my available time optimally. Also the range of topics covered by the magazine articles not only increases my French vocabulary belonging to different areas of interest but also adds to my knowledge of French life, culture and places. Thank you.

I have been following French Today for several years, even before my husband and I moved to France from the United States nine years ago. I have found Camille’s audiobooks, youtube videos and lessons very helpful. All of these are resources I return to frequently. I am now happy to receive the monthly audio magazine to practice my French ( yes, I am still learning French) and learn about various places in France. I am so grateful to her and her husband for their constant dedication to their work. Great job!!

Enjoying reading the articles and the format allows me to try listening before reading, several times if necessary, then checking my understanding, then I read it out loud 👍👍

Interesting content and nice way to work on the hardest part of learning French – understanding spoken French.

I find the ‘modern’ speed a little slow relative to the speed at which most French people speak. But at this speed I can understand most of it without needing to check the English, and the few words I don’t catch, I can get it well enough from the context. It’s good stuff, well done.

Each month there is a variety of interesting topics which gives a greater understanding of France, French people and their culture. These topics can be read in French and there is also an English translation if required. Every topic is recorded at an enunciated and a modern speed so can be altered as your listening skills improve. Once downloaded, they stay on your device so there is no hurry to rush through them and you can return to earlier topics/months at any time. As always, everything is well thought out and Camille’s voice is clear and pleasant. The download is straightforward too. I’m enjoying these a lot and happy to recommend. Thank you.
