French Audio Article Library Subscription FAQ

This is a list of frequently asked questions on our digital French audio article library subscription.

Can I try it before I subscribe?

Absolutely. If you have the French Today app installed, you can simply make sure it’s version 2.0.0 or above and click on the ‘Magazines’ tab. There you will find 2 full free articles. You can also read/listen to the articles on our website.

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. At any time, log into your account on this website, go to the ‘Subscription’ tab and click on the “Cancel” button. You’ll enjoy access to the whole library until the last day of your subscription and will not be billed again.

Can I see the previous editions when I sign up?

Yes. Anytime your subscription is active, you will have unlimited access to the complete article library.

Will my library articles remain after I cancel my subscription?

Think of your monthly subscription like a library card. You’ll enjoy unlimited access to the whole article library as long as you remain a subscriber. Once you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to all articles until the last day of your subscription.

Can I subscribe and pay via Paypal?

Yes, you can now subscribe to the magazine both via credit card or Paypal.

Do you keep my credit card number on file?

No we don’t. Our website never even ‘sees’ your full credit card number at any point in the checkout process. Only our Credit Card processor Stripe does. They give us a ‘token’ (a random number) that allows us to bill your card each month but this token is locked to only our site and that subscription. Even if a third-party ever had access to this token they would not be able to bill your card. It’s an incredible secure system that is used by Amazon, Apple and all subscription companies on the internet.

Why am I not seeing the articles in my French Today app?

If you’re on iOS, Android or macOS (10.15 or above) then the magazine articles will be visible within the French Today app. If you are on Windows or using older versions of macOS, then you will have to access the articles via our website after you have logged in.
