I love it. I have learnt a lot. I also love how it has different levels of recording so I can develop my ‘street french’.

I always wanted to learn a foreign language. I love to read, and was always looking up french words and phrases. I decided to give it a try.
I have a lot of reference material, but was spending a large amount of time online for pronunciation. I am really enjoying my audio lessons.
I am looking forward to your other lessons that are available.

Having tried Rosetta Stone and found progress difficult due to having no translations and explanations whatsoever, I am finding frenchtoday so much easier to use. The study guides really aid understanding and the exercises reinforce learning. The ability to listen to French spoken at different speeds and including ‘street French’ is a great help. In addition, the regular emails and links to blogs are good for expanding knowledge of the language, colloquialisms and customs etc, whilst always maintaining a high level of interest.

Excellent! What more can be said….
My wife and I have tried the market leading programmes spending a lot (£££), and they were useless! they did not teach grammar and were not well structured.
I read about FrenchToday on a review website and thought we would give it a go. Money well spent!
We have now purchased the whole A Moi Paris Method series (1-8) and have nearly completed level 2 so far. We love the stories and the gentle structured way that they introduce concepts and nouns/verbs. Level two starts to ramp-up the learning, and we are very confident in understanding simple French and are very much looking forward to completing the whole series. The levels take a lot longer than you think! don’t think you will be fluent in a few months, because you will not. We study about 1-1.5 hours every day and get through about 1-2 chapters a week on average, dependant on difficulty.
The product is very well thought out and teaches grammar concepts, and speaking as you would hear it in France, as opposed to school French.
highly recommended (UK Couple in our mid-50’s).

I wish there were more than five stars to express my enthusiasm for French Today, by far the best online means to learning French as it’s actually spoken. I used to be an ardent student of French years ago, but gave-up because I simply couldn’t comprehend the spoken language. From French Today I’ve now learned about glides and silent letters, etc. When you download each audiobook in the À Moi Paris series you’ll be delighted with thorough instruction tips, thirteen or more hours of interactive streaming, and several speed modes to enhance your listening skills. Not least, as a subscriber you’ll receive timely supplements, helping you attain fluency in specific areas of interest. Really, there’s nothing that compares.

‘Why are you trying to talk like the Queen?’ It wasn’t a question. It was an insult. And it stopped me from trying to learn French for 50 years.
The insulter was my Quebecois dad. He was not impressed with the French I was learning at the English-speaking primary school I attended in Ontario, Canada. He scoffed at my French saying, ‘That’s not the way people speak’.
And he was right. Living in a bilingual country, I soon learned that how French is taught and how French is spoken are two very different languages.
In the years that followed, I took a few more tries at learning French, but it was just like in my youth – I was being taught to ‘talk like the Queen’.
Then I found French Today. French Today is teaching me to speak the language the people speak. Et maintenant, je l’apprends! I am learning French with courage and confidence in a way that is preparing me to speak the living language.
If you want to learn to SPEAK French, not just learn the language; if talking to people in French is your priority, then I highly recommend you investigate the courses offered by French Today. Camille, Olivier and their practically-designed Audio Books and effective Blog lessons are making it happen for me. And they will make it happen for you too.

Excellent in every way.
Looking ahead a little, would an index be handy?
I like the contents of the “free lessons” on French culture, different aspects of grammar etc.
Au revoir!

Having tried numerous language courses for learning French, including GCSE and A-level, I have to say that “A Moi Paris” is by far the best. Working through the audiobooks really tunes your ear to spoken French. It’s a slow process, but you can work at your own pace, and it works!

I bought the “beginner bundle” today and I have to say, I am already impressed. I’m American and my fiancé is from Quebec so he is my motivation for learning French. I loved language in school but I never took French, only Spanish. I have tried books (print and audiobooks) and I even tried another online course. However, this is the first time I’ve had all the tools on an app and I am thrilled. It’s convenient and can be used offline. I find it hard to remind myself to go on my laptop and do a course but I always have my phone with me. I had no issues buying, installing, or using the app so far! I’m very excited to continue on.
