I found the Modern French Phrasebook useful as a revision aid more than a learning tool. It covers many practical subjects and interactions. You would listen to the specific subject phrases prior to engaging with the people you are going to meet. It is useful in that sense but not as an ‘on the spot conversation aid’. Overall however, it is very worthwhile working through it. It is clear, comprehensive and understandable and therefore a highly recommendable download. Also, amazingly, it is free.

i haven’t yet had occasion to use the Phrasebook, however I do use A Moi Paris Level 3. We are almost finished this book and about to start on Level 4. We have combined it with some of the Classic French Tales. We love your stories and the study guides are very straightforward to follow with practical exercises, which we work through as a group. i also get your French Today newsletters which i also find very useful and informative.
