Here is my own lively rendition of these eight very famous French tales. I tell them here using relatively simple French, in a very lively way, the same way I told them to my young daughter, the same way my mother told them to me. Each tale comes with a French transcript and English translation.

What a delightful book!
It’s a delightful change from the more formal language tuition books but it’s also an interesting glimpse of traditional literature for children.
Some of the fairy tales were old friends, others I hadn’t heard of before.
The translations are of a very high quality and introduce some different idioms and grammatical constructions.
An inspired production which I warmly recommend.

I use this audio book with my granddaughter when we video call. We live on opposite sides of the planet and the current Covid19 situation has made it very hard on both of us. She attends a French/English primary school and I am learning French so it is a useful tool for each of us. The stories are spoken clearly and at a speed that is understandable. I am most appreciative of the free temporary download. I will be looking on your site again.

I loved listening to this! Camille tells these stories beautifully and I liked her voice. I got absorbed in the stories some of which I didn’t know before, but was a little shocked by the ending of Le Petit Chaperon Rouge which differs markedly from the versions of it I have heard in English!

Smart choice during this pandemic. Since the stories are generally familiar even if a bit hazy, it helps with the understanding. Camilla reads each with such expression and so clearly it was really encouraging to be able to understand a story.
