The audio is terrific. The contemporary language and idiomatiqure expressions are so helpful. I would suggest a change in the menu navigation so the user can pinpoint parts of the grammar section more specifically. Right now the outline is very general and it’s inefficient trying to select a specific part.

Great for both active and passive comprehension. I like to listen through twice, one without the transcript, one with. I’ve used flash cards to help memorise the grammar. The 6th book is more about acquiring vocab compared to the 5th’s intensive explanations about grammar – wasn’t sure that was good in the first instant, but it has helped me acquire new phrases and idioms quickly

I am considering buying the next level when I’m through this book, but it is expensive. Would love a subscription version!

Very easy to use and follow French audio learning system. I use it on my iPhone, computer and iPad. It all synchs very well and is easy to follow. What’s good is that it’s created in nice bite-size chunks so I can plan my learning sessions very well. Camille also explains everything in enough detail but not too much to send your head spinning.

At the end of the Upper-Intermediate level I will definitely buy the Advanced level, and probably the French Verb Drills. Thanks,

Excellent correlation between the vocabulary and grammar with the practical use of things in the stories! Your email updates are always informative and help with small lessons along the way. Ç’est possible que je saurai parler français un jour!

This is by far the best course I have found for those wishing to speak French. It tackles, head-on, the differences between written and spoken French ( I had previously spent many hours listening and re-listening to Open University audios, trying vainly to reconcile the spoken words I heard with the transcript in front of me. Only now, with the benefit of the French Today course have I understood the differences). I also like the early concentration on the present tense, with the less common tenses, and subjunctive – do most of us really need these- delayed to more advanced levels.

Have followed Camille and her French Today website for years as my commitment to my French studies has waxed and waned. What hasn’t faltered over that time is the excellence of Camille and Olivier’s products, be it their website and blog, the À Moi Paris series, the verb drills and fundamentals, or Camille’s recent foray into live videos on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. With the right amount of application, one cannot help but improve when using all the highly professionally produced resources available from French Today.

I appreciate the way that Camille builds vocabulary by reintroducing unusual words and constructions from earlier books and chapters so reinforcing our familiarity with colloquially spoken French.

I really enjoy and appreciate your method and efforts to make learning this wonderful language accessible. I have compared it to other methods and find your way to be much more enjoyable and effective. While I have visited France, I have not yet been able to return. I hope to do so in the near future. Meanwhile I study mostly at home and by myself. I also converse with other French speakers by Whatsapp and find myself more and more confident in both writing and speaking. The most recent audio for me has been the folk tales. It is quite the challenge but also very interesting. Thank you once again for your efforts, particularly during this virus causing so much isolation.
    Bien Cordialement. Mark Stocks

Camille and Oliver are passionate about their language teaching. They continue to update material and to use the latest technology. They are supportive and invested in everyone’s progress.
The style and presentation of Camille’s material is unique and super clear to follow. Camille has a great voice for these projects, very easy to listen to.
I like her focus on contemporary spoken French as this connects with my goal to converse with Francophones in a natural way.

I have been living in France now for 5 years during which time I have tried many ways to improve my French. A Moi Paris is the first program that offers just the right balance between grammar and oral comprehension, and, most importantly for me, in manageable “bites.” I never feel overwhelmed and can stop and pick back up at my own pace without losing the thread. It must have taken a lot of hard work to develop the programs to this level and I am very happy to have discovered them. Thank you Camille and Olivier.

I’m just finishing up L5 now after having gone through Levels 1-4. I really feel like I’ve learned quite a bit, and I’ve progressed to watching French-language TV shows on Netflix. I can actually understand a fair amount of the dialog (the French subtitles help a lot), and it’s because the À Moi Paris series does such a good job explaining everything. I remember the first time I came across a character in a movie who said “Je ne sais pas” but pronounced it “shay pa” and recognizing the gliding that Camille pointed out. Teaching “street French” rather than textbook French is really helpful since that’s how people really talk.
