These are great stories that utilize different tenses and introduce key phrases that everyday people use. I actually went out of order 5,6 and now 4 but it’s okay. I wasn’t sure what level to start with and liked them so much I purchased more. There is also a key term directory at the end for which I make flash cards utilizing sentences from the dialogue which is also very helpful. I highly recommend using the app and putting it on a phone as it makes it so convenient to study. Thanks for great content!

I highly recommend this series. It is relatively easy to use and about the best I have run into for studying French. I divide the lessons into sections and study a little each day. They work well with the French Today newsletter which I study daily. The French language has come alive for me.

I’m halfway through “A Moi Paris” Level 4 and want to say that I think these audiobooks are a great way to self-study French. As a language teacher myself, I can see that a lot of thought has been put into making these books as practical and effective as possible. I like the emphasis on learning French “as it’s spoken today” and the focus on pronunciation through the audio (offered at two different speeds). I highly recommend this series. Also, follow French Today on Facebook . . . Camille’s posts are always relevant and practical with lots of tips and helpful suggestions! Merci!

This book is a wonderful learning tool for all aspects of learning French for those at B1 and B2 level: vocabulary, sentence construction, common expressions (really helpful here!), pronunciation, listening, especially with the two rates of spoken French (slower and street French). I recommend this series to all my friends learning French.

It is very well done. I listen to the story 4 times, read the story 4 times, do the study section for 3 or more days depending on the exercises. In Moi 1 and 2 I used the questions and answers also for dictation. I find it difficult to do now as that section is missing.

Glad you are enjoying the audiobook! The Q&A sections are available in the even level audiobooks (Levels 2,4,6) and are replaced by more in-depth grammar explanations in the odd levels (L1, L3, L5). Thanks for your review :-)

Absolutely brilliant! All of the audio books, level-dependent, are a must if you’re serious about learning French. The study guide together with questions and answers sections ascertain that you learn to use the language in the story effectively. The English translation in these sections comes first and you can keep on testing yourself on speed and accuracy of your own translation till it becomes aurtomatic. I’m a mature student and very experienced in studying as well as in teaching and find this course indispensable.

I studied French in High School and College a hundred years ago. Over the years I have tried to “keep up” my French. I downloaded the free audio book and was impressed and I purchased levels 3 and 4. The quality is great. I love the explanations and I’m listening a lot many times over before I read the transcripts. It’s very different from how I previously learned. I’m really enjoying it. I’m going to get levels 1 and 2 just in case I’ve forgotten something. These are the best lessons I’ve ever tried. Thank you Camille
