A fantastique method of teaching French, the dialogues are interesting and the subjects covered are those of everyday conversation and vocabulary. And to add to that, my French pronunciation has improved dramatically by listening to the audio.

I have also bought: Secrets of French Pronunciation, Secrets of French Conversation and À Moi Paris L1, L2.

I wish that I had discovered this audio method when I first started to learn French!

I am always amazed at the generosity of spirit that Camille, Olivier and Leyla share with the world of language learners.
The system they have developed is clear, logical and practical for modern french communication. Consider yourself fortunate to have come across this family.

These are really the best French lessons I’ve ever had. Additionally to the amazing French audiobook courses Camille and Olivier are doing a great job, providing the very comprehensive blog to teach us subtleties of French culture and everyday life and language as a result of it. I’m really happy to find this courses because since I’m Russian speaking – I’m lucky to learn more deeply one language (French), constantly practicing and improving the other one (English).

I really like this method and the series. It’s really helpful to have the story in 2 speed-levels, followed by a lesson, and then a Q&A.

The entire À Moi Paris series and accompanying books are a treasure trove of material. The step-wise method of learning makes it easy for the student to start slowly and build. Since I purchased and used all 8 levels of À Moi Paris and all the Verb Drills and the Adjectives books, this review covers all of these. Camille has put a massive amount of work into this material and it is filled with the kind of French you actually will need to learn to speak. She includes a huge number of slang and even vulgar expressions (face it…that is how we all talk…and you need to know these in French) and she covers every verb tense, all those pesky French pronouns, positive and negative sentence structure, indirect speech, cause/consequence, hypothetical speech, and everything else you need to know. I used her series to take me from knowing very little French to just below a level B1 (the level one needs to demonstrate to become a French citizen). If you work with this material and apply yourself in every chapter, you can get to a B1/B2 (Intermediate) level too! It is a lot of work, true. But if you want to really learn French as it is spoken, À Moi Paris will help you do it! Bon courage!! Michael

I am really enjoying all the French Today audiobooks. I find they are clear, easy to understand and I feel I am learning a lot of French. Also, I am looking forward to going on a French immersion holiday with the teachers listed on French Today in the near future.

I left it far too long to purchase my first audio books, levels 3 and 4! I was reluctant to spend more money on an online course having tried others – some good and some bad!! But, of course, you don’t know if the method/style suits you until you have purchased it! I urge you to try the free lesson and really tune in to it. It is only a taste of what is to come.

I am seriously impressed with these audio lessons and stories. So much so that I really enjoy going back over them so as not to miss ANYTHING! (I rarely re-read or re-listen to anything being always keen to get on to the next thing). The content is really valuable because even if the setting/story doesn’t directly relate to you or interest you (I love the story, by the way, and I am an English middle aged woman!) the grammatical phrases and vocabulary can be adapted to nearly every conversation you will have in your daily life. The more I listen, the more I appreciate French Today’s method.

Honestly, French Today is the next best thing to having a one to one teacher. It’s worth every penny.

Began studying your courses a number of years ago and discovered it was a great new approach to learning French. The stories seem so true to life and unlike many other ‘French courses’, take you right inside family life as if you were actually there, which really helps to keep the interest alive. Even though I’m only half-way through Level 4 I’ve just recently purchased the next one, Level 5 and really love the new ‘all-in-one format’. Great family-friendly business and a fantastic support service. Keep up the good work Camille and Olivier!
    Kind regards.

Easily the best French audio book I’ve come across. I am glad it’s related to modern day French and not traditional French. All the audio books until now have helped me improve my basic understanding of the book. I have recommended this book to quite a few ppl based on my experience. Merci beaucoup Camille.

I’ve been studying French off and on for a long time, and French Today audiobooks are among the best learning tools I’ve used. My current priority is on listening comprehension, which I often find difficult, especially when it’s spoken fast. And these audiobooks fit nicely with that goal. I recently finished Level 4, which improved my understanding long spoken dialogs. A real plus is that it introduced a lot of idioms–something that seems relatively rare to come across elsewhere. And the inclusion of common short phrases and the use of informal sentence structures often heard in conversation, but not usually taught, also added to my grasp of spoken dialog. On top of all that, the lesson were enjoyable.
