I had been studying French for about two and a half months before stumbling across the French Today product “A Moi Paris Method – Beginner”. In a manner of just a few days, I was shocked at how well I was able to ratchet up my French reading and listening comprehension. It’s actually addicting. I’m so glad I found French Today. The audiobook is elegantly designed, easy to use, fun, and full of information. I love how the program can be set to open automatically when I log on to my computer. I can adjust the speed of the audio, pause and go back easily, hide the translation… So many great features. And Camille’s voice is lovely. (I’m very picky about that!)
The extra tips and instruction that arrive by email are an added bonus, and the customer service is excellent.

I like several things:
The guided lessons with a great balance between insightful guideline and drilling into various topics. The page format. 3 voice speeds. Practical lessons that are applicable to the real world.
French can be overwhelming, which makes me appreciate the initial focus on how to read properly.
Bottom line is that the audiobook is effective because I’m learning something.

I purchased both the beginner and intermediate levels of A Moi Paris and I’m delighted with both. They are very simple to use and so much fun. I took French classes 50 years ago and what I learned is now considered formal French. The lessons I purchased are much more contemporary and useful. I would recommend any of the French Today products. They’re great!

I have progressed to Chapter 3 and I have found it to be an enjoyable experience. The lessons are cleverly constructed, introducing into the script subtle additions to be discovered by the student; a seamless progression of grammar and vocabulary. The two levels of pronunciation are very useful and have prompted me to purchase ‘Secrets of French Pronunciation’ – is too early for me to comment on the latter.

At the age of 61 I decided, what with the pandemic, I should learn French. I tried one-to-one online lessons with a tutor, and they were good, but not enough.
I trawled the internet for an online course for over a year, and without doubt À Moi Paris is by far the best. It is excellent, and no stone is left unturned by Camille & Olivier. The software program is very good (the occasional glitch, but that’s true of any software). Clearly a great deal of thought has gone into it and the enthusiasm of Camille & Olivier instils the same in the learner.
I’m keeping up with one hour per week online lessons with a native French speaker too (not part of À Moi Paris), because it allows speaking and correction of one’s errors in real time. I also read “French in Three Months”, HUGO, from DK as this is very well written, and compliments À Moi Paris as sometimes one wants to refer to a book.
These three elements for me, À Moi Paris, an online tutor, and the aforementioned book will provide everything you need in my opinion, but À Moi Paris accounts for 75% of my learning and is without doubt ESSENTIAL.
I fully recommend À Moi Paris, and I don’t think I could learn French without it.

The audiobooks are great! Listening to the stories and working through the exercises are inspiring. Why? I can feel progress. The stories are very engaging. I’m effortlessly expanding my vocabulary (comprehending), improving my pronunciation rhythm (aiming for music), and sharpening my listening skills (understanding). The 3 listening speeds are great … they help with comprehension progress. I truly love hiding the English translation when I’m reading and listening, simultaneously.
And when needed, it’s there.
