Thank you for the wonderful “French Today” audiobooks. I started my studies with the “French Greetings and Politeness” audiobook – although I need more practice and to come up with the correct phrases on cue.
I have now moved on to the À Moi Paris – beginner audiobook and am about halfway through. I absolutely love the way the audiobooks have been developed and would easily give you a five star rating or higher.

Excellent introduction to learning French! I started at complete zero, never having studied French before. The lessons strike a good balance between being too easy and too hard, and everything is explained well. Having the audio helps a lot, and Camille does an excellent job with her voice expressing the right emotions in context. Learning French this way through a series of events as part of a longer story keeps things interesting, and the situations are more realistic than what is often found in textbooks.
On a side note, I ran into a small glitch when I ordered online, but Olivier resolved it very quickly when I contacted him, so customer service is tops!

I am finding the French Today (beginner) an extremely useful review. I’m up to chapter 16 and find the pace is good for my level. I usually listen to the story at normal speed, then, depending on my comprehension, listen to it again at normal or speed it up to the street pacing. I’m guessing when I get to the intermediate level, I will sometimes need to begin at slow speed. The exercises are useful and are well adapted to things in the story. It is keeping my interest, which a very important quality. Thank you for all the care and knowledge you have put into these lessons.

I’m at the very beginning of the learning journey, but it’s amazing to see how the little efforts pay off. I listen and repeat mainly on my way to work and back, but I’m starting understanding the speech, the simple songs, and even could ask something in French on my recent trip to Paris.
