I am enjoying the French today learning method. The audio story is a central element which the grammar explanations and suggestions for drill practice for mastering pronunciation are based around. The audio is clear and teaches practical language skills and a solid grounding in grammar. I am using it particularly to improve my pronunciation and listening comprehension. Having the choice to listen to the story at three different speeds is an advantageous feature.
The audio books are good value for money and offer both a practical and academic step-by-step resource to build skills in french language learning.

I am now really enjoying studying French. Having the ability to vary my skills from enunciated, normal or modern French is really helping me to progress at quicker pace. Each Chapter is short enough to go over and over again. There is plenty of extra learning available by signing up to the regular newsletters and I enjoy receiving these great tips. Thank you to Camille and Olivier for putting this fabulous method together, which I highly recommend over many others I have tried in the past,

I would start with À Moi Paris series. I’m learning at the L7-L8 advanced level; however, I find it’s helpful to go back to L3-L4 and L5-L6 intermediate levels to learn or reviewed what I missed from the distant past. In fact, even though the beginner’s L1-L2 are too basic, I enjoyed listening just to review and to work on my pronunciation and accent improvement. The story is compelling, and I want to keep listening for more. The study guides are outstanding because Camille focuses on the vocabulary, the grammar, the sentence structures. I so appreciate the various speed that Camille recorded so that I can start with the street French speed then go back listening at a slower speed to really study each sentence.
The fact that Camille and Olivier are French and are also American citizens, they understand both cultures and difficulties that we face when we learn French. Studying French Today’s audiobooks, I feel as if I have a private teacher on a one-on-one basis because it seems that Camille can read our mind.

    Excellante!!
Clearly spoken, well paced. I can listen to the spoken French clearly.
I try to pronounce the words to get the right sound.
    Would definitely recommend the audiobooks.
Also, I really like photo of Oliver and Camille with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

I have tried to master French, off and on, since High School. Lockdowns encouraged me to re-engage. I am so delighted to have found FrenchToday. Even with a reasonable understanding of grammar, it has been soooo valuable to revisit the basics from the ground up. My pronunciation and understanding of Modern French are improving rapidly. Thank you

I have been studying French for a while now on my own. I have been using the French Today blogs to look up some specific topics and subtleties about the language. Because the blogs have become my go-to resource when I don’t understand something, I decided to try out the courses. I started with the beginner course because I didn’t want to miss anything. I’m so glad I did. Even though I have use products that I have been very happy with, the À Moi Paris beginner course has been a very pleasant surprise. There were some significant holes in my learning that the course covered in very helpful ways. I wish I had started with the French Today courses. There were so many things that I didn’t understand in other beginning courses. For instance, I didn’t understand why I was seeing a noun paired with the definite article (le/la/les) in some cases but not in others (“le français” vs “français”). The explanation was included with the introduction of definite articles.

Á Moi Paris is like a Lego kit but instead of Legos, it is built with French words, grammar, and such. This “French Lego world” has been so carefully crafted that the student that ventures into it will find a beautifully clear map with enough redundancy to make it feel familiar instead of confusing and scary.

I’m am really enjoying this series so far! The various types of audio for each audiobook is very helpful for beginners such as myself. I’m actually only listening to the stories themselves and not the lesson portion as I’m trying to learn more by immersion. So far, this is going pretty well. I’m very pleased with the audiobooks!

This is the entry level French course that I was looking for, slow paced and easy to understand. Camille has put a lot of effort into introducing French to the novice and I really enjoy listening to her voice.

First of all, I want to congratulate you on a truly outstanding language learning audiobook app. It is so convenient and works so well. Nice and clean and easy to use. The availability of multiple speaking speeds/styles is brilliant. Sometimes I just listen (and repeat) – this is really nice to be able to do while performing some chores. Sometimes I read and take notes or do the exercises in written form.

I have collected many of your courses over the years, some before the app was available. So much great material! I’m still working through the Á Moi Paris series.

P.S. If you came out with a flash cards enhancement for drilling with each chapter vocabulary, I would love that too.

I am really enjoying the à Moi Paris Audiobook series that you have sent to me. I like the format and the options for slow comprehension and then normal speed.
I am trying ,as you suggested, to read and listen to the French and to read the English as little as possible.
Your emphasis on the modern spoken French is particularly helpful as I often miss words that are ‘run’ together and become unrecognisable.

I also like the easy use of the program as I can come back to the lesson where I left it.
Time as always is my enemy as I am still working !!
    Meilleur Voeux.
    Tony Weaver
PS perhaps in the future I could organise a direct conversation with you on line as I am still very shy about conversing in French as I have little opportunity ?
