Just started with French today. But do like their audiobooks and their constant reminder that repetition is the key.

Thank you Camille & Olivier for the French Verb Drills audios. Compared to other audios they are difficult to go through, although necessary to be able to speak or write French in the correct tense. They will be very helpful and I recommend them.

I was a bit nervous about using verb drills one, I shouldn’t have been, it’s brilliant! Camille eases you into the practice, and even if you don’t quite get them right, you feel positive about going again. It’s a really great little exercise, one where you feel your confidence growing.
    Thanks, Camille (and Oliver)

This is an excellent way to study verbs conjugation. Being able to repeat the audio of a native french speaker again and again, is the key to the words becoming easily accessible in French conversations.

In a classroom or tutor setting they may go through the verb pronunciation 2 times but then you are left to remember the pronunciation and study on your own. I find the French Today verb drills very helpful method for learning or in augmenting your existing study program.

I don’t know how I discovered frenchtoday, but I signed up for Camille’s blog/emails and, in time, made my first purchase. I’d looked everywhere for targeted verb work–checked out the millions of YouTube offerings, re-opened my school-years Bescherelle and nothing really moved my comprehension, pronunciation, or facility with French verbs. And yet verbs are the heart of a language!

I bought French Verb Drills in mild desperation, driven entirely by my need for disciplined but useful verb work and having enjoyed the emails. I had no expectation of how good it the drills would be for me and made the mistake of purchasing only Volume 1. These drills are brilliant. Clear, time to repeat, time to consider, appropriately reminded by Camille to think of the meaning . . . everything I needed. I first used the drills in those dead spots of the day doing routine tasks. I could see in class (Advanced Beginner 2) and in watching French TV that my verb-use facility and my comprehension of spoken French were improving. Now I’ve moved to dedicated study time with the drills, having finally purchased all three in the series (and I recommend you simply start by purchasing the pack–less expensive and 100% worth it).

My goal is to be “fluent” before I die. I view this as a fairly existential bargain as fluency is always to-be-defined ;-) but, irrespective of definition and my own time-line, these verb drills are essential. I actually enjoy them, I do them and they have improved all aspects of my own French literacy and fluency. Thank you frenchtoday!

J’aime bien ces exercices — j’amĂ©liore ma pronunciation! La seule chose que je n’aime pas est la rĂ©pĂ©tition Ă  chaque conjugaison des petites recommandations pour les Ă©tudier et les utiliser. Une fois par verbe suffirait, peut-ĂŞtre. Merci beaucoup pour un enregistrement très utile!

I hadn’t realised how often I was guessing the verb forms … thank you so much for addressing the gaps and improving my pronunciation … which was clearly “vintage”. A much needed boost to my French.

The French Verb bundle is a great value that’s include mobile audio. It’s awesome. I’m moving at a pace more than I could image. Looking forward to what the next six weeks brings. Thanks to all of you for the work put into someone else learning French. Au revoir.
