Here is my own lively rendition of these eight very famous French tales. I tell them here using relatively simple French, in a very lively way, the same way I told them to my young daughter, the same way my mother told them to me. Each tale comes with a French transcript and English translation.

As Ms. Camille said, listening, sometimes reading along with the recording is invaluable to learning French. I am a teenager who is currently in the A2-B1 level and I found that although these stories had unique words, they really got me used to hearing French, especially in such an engaging manner. I could not be more happy that they released it for free, because I would not have otherwise been able to access this material. If you are thinking of experiencing classic storytelling (in French), definitely download it for free if you can. It is helpful to listen to in the morning, right before bed, or even while taking notes on new phrases and pronounciations… which is really helpful, as French is my fifth language and when there are all these language structures jumbled in my head, someone like Ms. Camille is here to save the day! Thank you so much for this material… I hope some more free content might be available sometime :)

I love the style of all products from frenchtoday. I read every email that comes through. It is so great to get the email in French, attempt to translate for myself and then see the english translation for checking and self-correction.

This book includes eight fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs. Camille reads each story fairly slowly in a very clear voice, making them very easy to understand. If you want to, you can follow the text in the app – which gives a section of French text followed by the English translation. The book is a great way of improving both your vocabulary and your understanding of spoken French.

This appropriate information makes the content of a text easy to understand without using a dictionary. So I’ve downloaded your app to hear your audiobooks.
