I last studied French as an 11 year old, many, many years ago, the beginner’s audio book is very well structured and engaging and I’ve absorbed a lot in three months. Camille’s voice has a tone and pitch that keeps you focused, and I find it very easy to complete a 45 minute to 1 hour learning session without it feeling like a chore.
I’ve never been the best academic student but I’m enjoying the learning along with periodic weekends in Brittany.

I have been studying French with other audio methods for a while. However, I felt my improvement was very slow for the effort that I was putting into it. I decided to give French Today a try and I am glad I did.

Although I could have considered my French level as beginners/intermediate, I started with the beginners course and I am learning quite a bit from it. The lessons are short, but comprehensive and entertaining overall.

What I like the most about the course is that Camille uses common everyday language and pronunciation. So I am learning how nowadays French people speak

It would be great if we could have an email every day (or five days a week) with a lesson in each. I have to admit, I’m struggling a bit.
    Thanks so much!

I have been learning French on and off for 10 years. I can read very well. I could write better with more practice. When I listen to French radio online, or visit Paris, I cannot follow what is being said. It’s too fast!

I have been using the French Today book for more than 2 months now. I take my time with the modules. I have definitely found an improvement with my listening. I imagine that my speaking will be better too. I haven’t had an opportunity to test it out on anyone French yet.

The books are enjoyable to follow and give you practice in all four learning skills: reading, listening, writing & speaking.

I find that the flexibility of an audio book that I can access on my computer or my phone very useful. I am a mature student and a shift worker.

I have waited a couple of months before writing this review because I wanted to give an honest opinion.

I hope you enjoy the books and the course as much as I do.

I enjoy your audiobooks – they present contemporary, spoken French, usefule in daily situations. I am very fond of Camille’s emails and short lessons – short enough to remember the useful hints and brief conversations. I apprecaite the amount of work that you two do – the lessons are simple yet full of useful phrases, it’s also nice to see Camille’s happy face and get to know you two and Leyla. Interacting with you often feels very intimate even though naturally you would have a great numbers of followers. It feels nice to be a part of your cyrcle even if it is only virtual and pretend! Thank you very much for your great effort and honest work to provide quality outcome!

I took French as a teenager. I started here and have learned more in two months than I did in 7 years. I can’t wait to progress to the next level.

I am hoping to learn some conversational French, ahead of a trip, in a few months, so I ordered the Beginner series. I remember quite a lot from high school French class, so the verb conjugations are not difficult, but the review is very helpful and I love hearing the language spoken in real life situations. The story format is a wonderful way to teach and I really appreciate the grammar and usage explanations.
I am very pleased with this program and with Camille’s newsletters and free lessons and tips.

Over the past year I have used many online sites to learn French. I now have a few favourites and French Today is definitely one of them. It is clear, comprehensive, interesting and, most importantly really useful. I particularly like the way that Camille provides different listening options as ‘audible French’ is something I find really challenging. I am also impressed with the wealth of information on a large range of topics that is available on the French Today website. Although I have not been using French Today for very long, I feel like part of the French Today family and I intend to complete the entire À Moi Paris Method. Thank you, Camille, for all your past and ongoing commitment – highly recommended!

I’ve been studying French off and on for about 60 years. Ok mostly off. When I finally stumbled upon French Today’s approach, I made real progress toward hearing with understanding and speaking with facility. This is how we normally learn language. Try it. It works.

I honestly think I’m going to be able to learn French this time.

The book is well structured, and understands and anticipates the problems a native English speaker would have in becoming fluent in the language.
