I’ve been studying French for many years through high school, college, and online courses, but never could understand how to really get comfortable with carrying on a conversation in French. I’ve been using these recordings as compliment to my French classes at school for a few weeks now and I’ve found them to be great for listening practice and for grasping how the gliding and many contractions sound. Also, the pace of the recordings is slow enough that even as a beginner I can grasp the meanings without being totally overwhelmed by the speech speed.
