Bonjour ! My name is Anne-Elisabeth and I look forward to welcoming you home for your immersion programme. Don't worry, I will meet you at the station or airport. I have done my studies in management. This was 30 years ago. I went to study in the UK for a few months. At that time, I discovered English teaching as a foreign language and thought it was fantastic teaching one’s mother tongue language to foreign people. But I was studying management and back in France, I started working in the field of my studies. I kept in my thoughts the will to teach French. As we love meeting people and sharing our passion for our adopted region, my husband and I decided to become a host family. It was first in Bordeaux, where we used to live 20 years ago. Then, 17 years ago as we came to another southern city called Montpellier, we had guests from all over the world coming to learn French in Montpellier language centers. That is how it all began ! For several years as a host family, I noticed the frustration of some students when I sometimes didn’t understand them. I really wanted them to be completely satisfied with their French immersion program in France. The only solution was to become a French language coach and create tailor-made individual courses. It became obvious that my hidden dream had to come true. I decided to help adults or young people not only improve their French but progress quickly in selected areas: oral comprehension and oral expression (focus on pronunciation), written expression, written comprehension and in defined terms : to be a tourist in France, to find a job in France, to prepare for an examination… So I went back to school to graduate as a French teacher as a foreign language.
My teaching approach
I am happy to teach French to the whole family: to you, to your teenagers and even to your younger children! As the testimonials show, I have experience with all types of audience.
It is out of the question to impose on my students a ready-made programme . When I was simply hosting guests who wanted to improve their French, they complained to me that the language centres weren’t adapted to their needs.That is why I decided to be a French language course and propose personalized individual courses.Together we will take the time to define your programme. It will be adapted to your needs and wishes. That's what a coach is all about: you are the actor of your success. They simply help you to achieve it As a result, there will be rapid progress in learning French during your French immersion program and discovery of reusable learning methods at home.
My French Immersion Program
3 hours of French lessons per day from Monday to Friday. They usually take place in the morning but can be in the afternoon depending on your daily activities. My immersive homestays match all your needs and wishes. Are you interested in scenic landscapes, in gastronomy or in sports ? This is a personalized program for you in terms of activities and courses so as to meet your expectations and help you in understanding French. For professionals, I will be able to help you communicate in French for your professional or private needs or prior to your expatriation in France. Thanks to my former professional background in management and finance, I can help you boost your vocabulary, learn the workplace culture and feel at ease orally in each professional situation.
Please note that you accommodation is suitable for a couple, a family or two friends. One bedroom room is equipped with a queen size bed or 2 twin beds depending on the fon the composition of your family.
A two-week immersion program is a great way to improve your French and discover Montpellier and the surrounding area.
Again, please note that I am happy to teach French to the whole family: to you, to your teenagers and even to your younger children! As the testimonials show, I have experience with all types of audience.

Our house
Our house is located near the hectic city centrer of Montpellier : 10 mn by tram to the city centre of Montpellier (Place de la Comédie). Our house is located in a quiet area with a garden.
Your Accomodations :
You Private guest flat is located on the 1st floor within the house with a private entrance. It has been renovated and is nicely decorated. It is fully equipped with two bedrooms with a double bed, access to wifi, two armchairs to read, and a “bureau” and another bedroom.

Merci mille fois for welcoming us with your lovely home, our air-conditioned rooms were super comfortable and the washing machine and airer were well used in the very hot weather.
Michel- your fabulous food and great sense of humour were majour highlights of our stay although our divine lunches meant that we needed une sieste every afternoon.
Anne-Elisabeth- the kindness, patience and effort you put into our lessons was much appreciated. Thank you also for the excursions to Palavas and St Guilhem le Désert. While you drove, we snoozed in the car and I will treasure the chats we had when I was able to stay awake.

Ma troisième expérience d’immersion et la meilleure à ce jour. Anne-Elisabeth et Michel sont des hôtes fantastiques et avoir notre propre appartement privé était un luxe agréable. La situation proche de l’ancien village, de la rivière et de toutes les commodités (y compris le tramway) était un autre avantage inattendu. Anne-Elisabeth était l’enseignante parfaite pour ma femme et moi-même, et je suis reparti avec plus de confiance et d’ambition dans mon parcours d’apprentissage de la langue française. Je recommande vivement cette immersion.
