As an older person I thought I would learn French to keep my brain exercised, also because I have grandchildren living in a French-speaking environment. My previous studies of the language stopped 50 years ago. I am learning very slowly with some evening classes, and I’m finding the audiobook and particularly the grammar lessons extremely helpful as I can keep going backwards and forwards between the story and the lessons to reinforce the learning. I love the tips which Camille sends by email to keep me motivated and lately I am loving the French fairy tales. Thankyou so much for such a well-designed and user friendly course. Also. The friendly style, I feel like we are friends.

I’m at intermediate level and have found the resources produced by Camille the best available. Well worth every cent. The Facebook page is also terrific.

I have been enjoying Camille and French Today for about a year just watching videos on Facebook or reading her blogs and learning French and French culture in a very enjoyable way. They recently decided to share the French Fairy Tales audio book for free and I enjoyed it so much and especially appreciated how I could read along visually (or not) in French or with translations and in two different speeds. It had never felt so easy to understand French. It really built up my confidence which is very important when learning a language (even one you have studied for decades as I have!) French has always been a part of my life via family and my job so you can image the number of programs and classes I’ve taken. French Today is absolutely my favorite and the one I find most effective and enjoyable. I even mentioned it to my French conversation teacher who was very impressed with how much these products encouraged me to stay more engaged with the French language on a daily basis. It’s painless and best of all you see results and my actual French has improved a lot because of her methods of repetition and “back to the basics”. It’s a very functional approach and it is SO refreshing after the decades of books and course work. I could not recommend it more highly. Give it a chance. Very high quality and attention to every aspect of these books. It’s clearly a passion in this family to make French more accessible.

I am extremely thankful to Camille and French Today for this book. I was a little hesitant purchasing this book as I am already using the ‘A Moi Paris’ audio books. However, I am very happy I did as I alternate between this and ‘A Moi Paris’ in my french learning process. The stories in this book are very well though out, interesting and helps me learn new words naturally. In my opinion, the value of the book far ( and I mean by some distance) outweighs the purchasing cost.

In my french learning process, I have not come across any material as helpful as French Today’s audio-books. I am sure speaking french with others is the best way to learn. However, The audio books provides me with a base to do that and to come back and work on my vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation every day. Je vous remercie beaucoup.

This audio book is a perfect accompaniment to my slow evening walk with our elderly dog, Bob. Sadly, neither of us have a very good memory but he has time to sniff at his leisure whilst I soak up the language and copy the pronunciation out loud! All I need to do now is remember it for next French holiday!
    Merci beaucoup Camille.

I found this novel really helpful. Super useful content for visiting France. I listened to the story in slow-mode and went through the questions (pausing to have my reply ready before hearing the recorded reply). Then listened to the story in street-french mode and the questions again. I bought Une Semaine à Paris, and due to the value I received I bought the Paimpol novel too.

Excellent content and it has been really helpful to me as I have transitioned to living in France. The conversations are the types you actually hear as opposed to what you learn in the classroom. I highly recommend the audiobooks. I also use the verb drills and pronunciation guide etc. Thank you Camille, Olivier and Leyla too!

Having bought and used most of the À Moi Paris audio books, I bought the two novels and have really enjoyed them both. They’ve definitely improved my understanding of French and are great for listening on long car journeys. I’d definitely recommend.

I started studying with Camille and French today several years ago. My first audio book was A Moi Paris and it was followed by Une Semaine à Paris. I also have The Fairy Tales audio recordings. I always come back to frenchtoday. The products are great and the web site is super. I highly recommend the products and if your New Year’s resolution is to learn French, start here. You will never be disappointed!
