This is a clear and interesting story with good questions and a lovely story line. Useful phrases and practical vocabulary are interspersed throughout the account. Good book. A lot of Useful vocabularie to learn and use when going on Holiday. I found listening to the audio has improved my understanding when listening and responding to spoken French.

Some years ago I wrote a review of one module of the “frenchtoday” course. I have visited Paimpol on a few occasions and had hoped to do so again this year. Since I cannot travel because of the Covid-19 lockdown, I listened to “Une Semaine à Paimpol” again recently which brought back memories, especially since, I stayed in the hotel featured in the story. I sent Camille and Olivier an email saying how much I was missing not being able to travel to Brittany this year. Within 24 hours, I got an email from Camille with links to four other sites dealing with Paimpol and its surrounding area. I cannot imagine there is any other online course which gives such a personal service. Camille, Olivier and of course Leyla, have developed a remarkable product which is constantly under review, with such additions as the “Story Only” version which was launched this week. I wish them every success in the future, success which is richly deserved.

I am writing this while being inside my house during Coronavirus and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Camille and Olivier are giving away for free their audio book “Classic French Tales”. I will write special review for that beautiful book but I just realized I haven’t written a review for this one. First of all I wanted to buy the book while there was a discount but I was late for a day and very dissapointed that I had missed it. I decided to write an email to Camille and she and Olivier allowed me to buy the book at a lower price. I mean who does that? They are truly special, even if you don’t buy any of their books you will profit greatly by just reading their newsletter. This book is simply amazing, it’s captivating, interesting and Camille’s voice is so soothing and beautiful, it is a joy to listen to. It is not easy to find good content for intermediate learners but Camille’s books are so well thought out, you will improve your French while thoroughly enjoying the process.

This is the first product I have purchased. I am delighted with the quality of the recording and the format of the material presented. There are so many opportunities to use the presentation to facilitate the type of learning required. I have quite a good accent and have an adequate vocabulary, but need practice with listening and conversation. I have enjoyed using this book to help me with these skills and I have found it really interesting text to engage with. I love the different speaking speeds and also the ability to switch translation on and off as needed. I am looking forward to furthering my skills with this product.

This was my first downloaded audio book from Frenchtoday and I really enjoyed all facets of the book. The story line is interesting and fun and the vocabulary and grammar just seem to sink in especially with repeated listening! Well done…I will be buying some more of these products!

My friend and I are really enjoying listening to this book. We listen to the slow version with the English turned off then try to answer the questions without looking at the answers. Is there some way to hide the answers too? Then we go back and listen to the street version. We’re both retired so can forget things very easily so it’s great being able to review it more than once!

Having bought and used most of the À Moi Paris audio books, I bought the two novels and have really enjoyed them both. They’ve definitely improved my understanding of French and are great for listening on long car journeys. I’d definitely recommend.

Everything I have purchased from french today has been amazingly helpful on my language journey. I can highly recommend the audio novels complete with translation if you need it. The emails I receive with tips and bilingual stories are really useful too and I have also met up with one of the French immersion tutors who happens to live nearby to my Brittany holiday home.
