I was so glad to find this series of audiobooks. I have found the outstanding features to be, firstly, really well organised technology which allows easy and flexible navigation of the content including a very slick single and instant click between street french and enunciated french. Secondly the content is very well written and relevant to everyday life. I very much appreciate a level of detail in which a careful balance has been struck between thoroughness and the ability for students to make rapid progress. Thirdly the authors are very welcoming and ready to respond to queries. It is easy to decide at which level to begin by taking a twenty minute free assessment which worked well for me. I really love using this audiobook. Camille’s explanations are very clear and easy to understand. She has really good diction and speaks English and French beautifully. It is a joy to be able to study French with Camille whenever it suits me. I prefer it to the several apps I have tried as unlike some, it is both audio based and fully synchronised with the text so I have the best of both worlds. The French Today app is well designed for on use the move with a repeat function and car mode. The constant choice of enunciated or modern French is inspired. I am onto Level 4 now and already it has improved considerably my understanding of French especially fast modern French.
