I’m currently taking a French Course with a government agency. While the program I’m taking is intense, I found that I needed other resources to aide in my learning processes. I searched on the internet for an audio product that would help tune my ear to French pronunciations, help increase my vocabulary and enhance my speaking ability. I sampled a few other audio programs, but I found I kept coming back to Camille’s products. While this review is mainly for A moi Paris 2, it covers the products I have purchased from French Today – such as French Verb Drills and the Secret to French Pronunciations. You’ll find that Camille’s voice is very pleasant and with the right player you can slow it down or have it at normal speed – as required by your ear. Her approach is original and straightforward. She has helped clear up some of the mysteries surrounding the language. The study guide is very easy to use and helps with placing new words into context while also providing the meaning in context. The book comes with a full transcript in both English and French – so if you are stuck, a complete translation is readily available. I would highly recommend this product and others for both beginner and intermediate students.

This has proved to be the most wonderfully useful resource for me, fairly new to the joys and richness of the French language. It is a natural successor to A Moi Paris 1 and First Encounter. The vocabulary continues to cover a wide range, the content encourages one to research the appropriate grammar and the on-going story of the adventures and relationships of Mary, Claudia and Sophie maintain the reader’s interest. I’m looking forward to Mary and Patrick’s wedding in A Moi Paris 3!

I’m a low intermediate learner of french and I find A moi Paris extremely helpfull for everday language, this is exactly my goal to be able to speak fluently and undestand quickly at a low intermediate level, I don’t want more but I want to be good at this level, everyday language.
