Even though I’ve been learning French for quite a while and got a good result when I passed the DELF B1 French exam last year, I needed to work on my speaking and listening. I jumped in at L3 and really enjoy using the audio method. Not only does the clear pronunciation help me to understand, but studying the glidings, elisions, and modern street French is really giving my spoken French a boost. I pair this with the additional audio Exercise Book to consolidate. I’m learning lots of new vocabulary and filling some grammar gaps too. I can really recommend this method.

All of the material Camille provides is exceptional. I love that there are spoken and enunciated audio versions and it’s easy to switch between them. The emphasis on spoken French is fantastic, and missing from many other learning tools. The material is structured in a way that the grammar is clearly explained with excellent examples and exceptions. Finally, I have to mention the usability of their material (website and app). It’s fabulous to use when driving and it’s clear a lot of time and effort has gone into making it a seamless experience. Couldn’t recommend all their modules more highly.

I am so pleased with French Today. I signed up originally for the beginners class. However after a few days, I realized that I would be more challenged in the intermediate class. I informed Olivier and Camille of my issue. The next day Olivier emailed me that he had changed my purchase to intermediate level! I am thoroughly enjoying this way of learning French. I love how the story builds and you get an insight into the characters and their quirks. I even surprised myself by being able to follow the speed of the Modern French version, although I also like the enunciated version, as personally I still like the old fashioned version of saying every word. I have found the intermediate version to be just right and was pleased you could listen to other versions before you buy. Over all, I would give it top marks.
