As a former secondary school teacher and University lecturer responsible for preparation of many courses, face to face and on-line, I am very impressed by your programme. As life-long student, in languages as well as other courses, I find the programme enjoyable, and stimulating.

After 45 years, I am picking up French again, as a beginner. While I have explored several helpful or entertaining you tube channels, French Today has become my go to source for a better foundation. I have progressed more than I would have believed possible. I spend a few hours a day studying, then I relax and train my ear with music or videos.

I’m still fairly new to this course and I really like it. This is not my first attempt at learning french and I can badly manage to converse to some extent in french. I have tried other french courses with mixed success with some taking a too formal teaching approach. “A Moi Paris”, provides a very rounded teaching framework that fits my personality and fills so many gaps in my knowledge.

I’m really enjoying the Frenchtoday audio books and specialized guides. No question, the emphasis on speaking and connecting grammar/vocabulary with both sound and articulation is smart and effective. I’m a very mature learner with very solid reading abilities but one whose speaking and comprehension lag far behind. The fact that this system is geared toward English speakers is definitely a big plus as is the very smart and well-designed technical interface. Thanks to these tools, I’m glad to say I’m making real progress.

In the years I’ve been trying to learn French, this method has been by far the best I’ve found.

I’m delighted because I’m a visual person and initially thought I would struggle with just audio but it’s been life changing!

Portable, accessible, very easy to understand and most importantly easy to remember for the first time.

Hi, I’m Nathan Chou and after using frenchtoday for a couple of months to acquire my French, I find that this course is one of the better products you can buy.

I especially like its app that enables me to listen to the audio of my course while reading its script along.

So helpful to gain better understanding of how French speakers really sound, as well as to know when to use (or not use) street French, myself. Excellent products; highly recommended.

A beneficial tool for learning. I particularly like the exercise books that go with each level. Repetition is the mother of learning.

    Merci beaucoup !

What you hear and learn in this course are dialogues one uses in everyday life interacting with other people. So for me it is useful. You have the choice to hear the audio material delivered the same way it is spoken on the streets of France . Alternatively you can slow it down and have it articulated slowly and clearly for an ear that is just attuning to the sound of the French language. I like the format of the course. It is easy to use, the audio is clear, concise, and the nuances of the French language are explained very well. There are useful exercises to help you acquire the language of the discourse you have just listened to. Easy to use, professionally designed informative language course. Well worth my investment.

I went for this product because the offer of teaching modern French – as people actually speak – appealed to me, (having moved to France and found that I can’t follow anything anyone is saying!) This audio learning approach is different from others I’ve used before. I find the combination of the short dialogue, explanation of the vocabulary and grammar and then exercises to practice the learning in each section works well. The way this is broken down into fairly short chunks means I don’t feel overloaded with information or bored by tedious exercises. I’m able to go into the programme several times a day and either repeat a section, or go through the last few dialogues again or repeat the exercises, so that I don’t feel like it’s ever a chore. The ability to play the dialogue at different speeds and being able to pause and rewind until I’ve mastered the pronunciation, is really helpful. Camille has a very nice voice to listen to and there have already been some new things I’ve learned that were never covered in my school French lessons. Besides this, the free lessons provided on the website and newsletters are a great bonus and Camille and Olivier’s communications really make me feel that they are friends helping me along an adventure in learning a new skill. Thankyou!
