Emilie – Azza review
Stayed in April 2019
Emilie is a superb teacher, as well as a very warm and genuine person.
I had structured lessons in the morning, tailored to my needs and abilities, and some homework to practice what I learned. I very much benefited from emphasis on pronunciation and listening exercises of spoken French. I learned new vocabulary and had interesting and stimulating conversations with Emilie and her family, friends, and neighbours. Everyone was very warm and pleasant and made me feel welcome (including the cat, Eustache).
The setting of her countryside house is beautiful, and the views are breath-taking. All the meals prepared by Emilie and her husband, David, were delicious and the local fresh produce very tasty.
Emilie was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at Boussens train station. She took me on nice long walks in her neighbourhood, shopping for bread, sightseeing around Aurignac, visiting a village arts and crafts fair, and learning about the heritage and culture of the region.
I am so glad I went for an immersion stay with Emilie and her family. I have had a lovely time and acquired more confidence to continue learning French.
