Emilie – Alison & Annest review
Stayed in July 2019
We arrived in a heatwave, and to a very warm welcome from Émilie, David and Eustache the cat (Myrtille was away). The house was lovely and spacious with a modern feel to it, perfect for surviving the high temperatures.
In the lessons we were able to learn in a simple way in the classroom but we were learning all the time outside the house – asking for a pain au chocolat in the local bakery, when weighing and sorting out vegetables for a farmer friend, buying ice creams at the swimming pool in Aurignac, making a red berry cake.
The food chez Émilie and David was absolutely fantastic. We are both vegetarians and each meal they produced for us was original and tasty.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of France; we will miss it and Annest will especially miss the company of the lovely Eustache.
