4 – Paris Métro Tip 11
Think twice before asking a friend to meet you up at the exit of a specific Paris métro station. More often than not, there are several exits (la sortie), and they may be quite remote one from the other!
Same reasoning applies if you are going to visit a friend: when asking for his/her address, if you are planning on going there “en métro” ask for the nearest subway station and the exit name!
On each station of the Parisian métro, you have several maps:
- A map of the subway system
- A map of the area
If you are in a large station, consulting such a map could prove useful, so you select the right exit… Choosing the the wrong exit for your destination could mean a serious waste of time and energy!
