Wild Animal Problems – French Story & Audio Pronunciation

Poor John is still having problems with wild animals… Practice your French with this fun and easy French story written at a low intermediate French level + free audio recording.

How To Study French With This French Story?

This easy French story was written by my French Skype student John. It’s at a low intermediate level, meaning that the grammar and sentence structure John used are rather easy.

You may need help with the French vocabulary though: so first, study the list of vocabulary. Then listen to the audio. Repeat several times. If you still don’t get it, then copy and paste the text into Google translate to get an (approximative) English translation!

Un peu sur moi: I am an anesthesiologist in Boise, Idaho. I fell in love with France forty years ago when I spent my senior year of high school in St. Cloud (une des banlieues de Paris). The French that I learned 40 years ago has long since evaporated. I've been taking French phone and Skype lessons from Camille for a while, and now "graduated" to take advanced conversation lessons with Olivier. Their lessons have been a very big help.

Can You Understand Today’s Spoken French?

It’s not just slang. The French everybody speaks in France today is NOT the overly enunciated, extremely formal French usually taught to foreigners.
