3 – French Easy Story

Il Ă©tait une fois quatre poissons rouges qui vivaient avec bonheur dans notre petit bassin.  Ils avaient beaucoup d’eau fraiche et de courant et beaucoup de nourriture.  Tout allait bien et les poissons Ă©taient trĂšs heureux.

Et puis un jour il y avait seulement trois poissons.  Le lendemain il y en avait seulement deux.  Deux jours aprĂšs, il restait seulement un poisson.  Le dernier poisson a essayĂ© de se cacher dans le filtre et pendant plusieurs jours, il a rĂ©ussi.  Mais un jour le filtre a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©couvert  complĂštement dĂ©truit, et le dernier poisson avait disparu.

Qui a tuĂ© les poissons et qui a abĂźmĂ© le filtre ?  Quelle piste suivre ?  Il n’y a aucun tĂ©moin et le seul indice est le filtre dĂ©truit.  Il n’y a aucun signe de bagarre.  Les poissons ne se sont pas dĂ©fendus.

Qui sont les suspects principaux ?  Est ce un chat, un chien, un renard, un putois, un raton laveur, ou un oiseau comme un martin-pĂȘcheur ou un faucon ?  Tous ont le mĂȘme mobile.

J’ai commencĂ© une enquĂȘte et essayĂ© d’interroger tous les suspects.    Les chats ont dit que les poissons vivent sous l’eau et qu’ils n’aiment pas l’eau.  Les putois ont dit la mĂȘme chose.  Cela me semblait raisonnable.  Les chiens ont niĂ© les faits et ils ont dit que ça sentait le raton.  Les ratons-laveurs  ont niĂ© les faits et protestĂ© de leur innocence.  Ils ont dit qu’ils ont vu des oiseaux qui mangeaient les poissons.  Quand j’ai essayĂ© d’interroger les oiseaux, ils ont volĂ© sans dire un mot.  Un acte louche.

Comment identifier le coupable ?  Il n’y avait ni preuve ni tĂ©moin.

Enfin une nuit, j’ai trouvĂ© un raton-laveur en flagrant dĂ©lit sur le lieu du crime: il Ă©tait en train de se baigner dans le bassin, et de chercher un repas facile : les preuves Ă©taient accablantes, et je savais que j’avais trouvĂ© le coupable.
