Learning French in Maryse's gorgeous house will ensure that you make tremendous progress within a short period of time. Speaking French and only French will help you to acquire an authentic accent, develop your self-confidence and enjoy a real fluency in the language. The course is designed to meet your own needs, at your own pace in a very small group (1-3 students).

The mornings are dedicated to the 4-hour class (22 hours per week) and your local guide, Maryse, will take you on excursions twice a week in the afternoon.

Your teacher

Maryse speaks French, English and Japanese. She worked for the last 20 years with foreign students as a FLE teacher (French as Foreign Language) and taught in various places in France and abroad: HEC, business school in Helsinki, Finland, in Tokyo, Japan, etc.  Maryse started the home stay programs in 1994 and still enjoy greatly meeting people from all walks of life.

The Program

1 and 3 weeks stays are available all year round, in Maryse's own house, a beautifully restored antic convent with an amazin garden.

Prices include:

  • French lessons: 22 h/week
  • Home stay and home cooked meals
  • Guided tour of Burgundy: twice a week
  • 2 days (B and B) in Paris are also included with the 3 week program

Optional courses:

  • Home cooking
  • Weaving
  • Watercolour or pastel drawing

Cost

3 weeks: 900 euros/week
1 week: 1000 euros/week
