Sales season in France

Share | |

soldes_parisJanuary is decidedly not a post-holiday slump month in Paris. The cultural calendar is rich and full and life is good. There is a particularly notable January event that is a must-not-miss if you love to shop for French Chic, and, are lucky enough to be in France.

Les Soldes. The bi-annual BIG sales events (the other one is in July) will kick off Wednesday January 6th and runs for five weeks.

Sales periods are regulated in France and this is the mother of all sales including top luxury stores and quirky small boutiques. Visit your favorite stores and scope out the things you love, go early in the sale and you may be lucky!

Shops like Hermès resemble a rugby scrum early in the sale period but there are values to be had all over. Dive in and have fun!
