The venerable French tea firm Mariage Frères has opened a new tea counter and small shop in the Carrousel du Louvre near the lowest point of IM Pei’s pyramid as it stretches down into the below-ground level.
The perfect marriage of fine teas, fine art and good shopping in the nearby boutiques with the Carrousel du Louvre space. Mariage Frères, with tea shops and tea salons in the Marais, St. Germain, and near place des Ternes, is outstanding. 500 plus pure and blended teas for sale, about 100 served for sipping on site. Nice.
